Dog Lover Required

Yesterday I spent the day at Woody's taking pet portraits during her open house. The humidity was extremely high and I literally had to peel my clothes off at the end of the day. Not to mention I probably had a pound of dog slobber on my knees. Dog lover required. I will be posting a few images from each session throughout the week.

I'm not only a huge dog lover, but a lover of HUGE dogs. I've always wanted a great dane but after seeing this Mastiff yesterday it's a toss up!

Beautiful Day, Beautiful Family

Sunday morning I traveled out to Edgewood for a family session. I enjoyed meandering my way through their neighborhood turning onto patches of old brick road. We used their backyard for all the portraits and it couldn't have worked out any better. Lots of shade and beautiful greenery for a backdrop.

Family Session

I met the with the A family this morning at Southpark. They are such a beautiful a family. We started out playing on the playground...who wouldn't?!...then mingled around the open fields for some candid pictures. Little T (the big brother) was a little tired and not interested in getting his picture taken, but you'd never know it by some of his pictures. Maybe his parents bribe for new paint did the trick :)

Bethel Park:: Senior

Tuesday night I met with E at Peters Lake Park for an awesome senior session. We had a beautiful night and the lighting was gorgeous all around the lake. Thank goodness the thunderstorms got out of the way during the afternoon!

6 years::

I'm not sure what the 'official' wedding present is supposed to be at 6 years, but I think a new laptop will do :). Our anniversary isn't until August, but I'll take an early present anyday! He and my oldest stepdaughter spent all day Saturday rearranging my new office space with my new computer desk. I threw my back out on Friday and was *useless*. Honestly. I'll post some before and after pictures in a later blog post, but I haven't ordered my prints for the wall yet.

Meet Little J

Tuesday evening I met with 18 month old J and his mom and dad for a Celebrating Adoption session. J was adopted in September from Guatamala. He couldn't be any sweeter! At first he was clingy to mom and dad but before long he was giving me high fives and cozying up to see his picture on the back of my camera! You can tell he's going to be a ladies man too...anytime a female walked past in the park he stopped everything to take a look :).

Angela + TJ

Saturday I spent all day shooting with my friend David Burke and Jen at Angela and TJ's wedding. We started out at her mom's house to capture the girls getting ready then headed off to the Immaculate Conception church in Washington, PA. The reception was held at the Sheraton in Station Square. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding, and need I say a beautiful bride!

My Domain

I just spent the last 1/2 hour switching my domain name from Yahoo to GoDaddy. My email will remain the same, but if you send an email and don't receive a reply within a few days....please call. Everything should go smoothly, but there's bound to be a gliche somewhere along the way. Right?! haha

Why did I do this????

So I can offer a password protected online ordering system! Now you can not only see your gallery of images online but you can also order them directly from the site. Ordering storyboards will be super simple too. It's going to be fabulous and I can't wait to launch it on my site.

And I couldn't leave ya without a picture of my new cell phone :)

Hope everyone is having a great 4th of July weekend! Not the best weather I've experienced on the 4th, but all in all I have nothing to complain about. We've roasted enough marshmallows this weekend for the whole community :).
