Christina & Mark | 2.7.09

What a week it has been! I'll be back with some exciting news...but first, I wanted to share some more from Christina & Mark's wedding. The ceremony was held at St. Francis of Assisi in Finleyville. The little church had such charm and it made a beautiful backdrop to their intimate ceremony.


Christina and Mark had a little secret about their honeymoon that I thought was extra special. They didn't tell their daugther that their honeymoon was a trip to Disney and not some sandy beach. They packed her bags for grandmas...but to her surprise they were really for Disney.

What I've been up to!

Sorry ya'll....I've been slacking on my blog lately but not in other areas! I'm getting ready to launch some updates to my website and you might have noticed I changed my logo. I wanted something more clean and simple to reflect my style. I love the new font and style. do you?

I'm also in the process of updating my blog so the pictures are larger and there's no text along the sides. this information can be found at the very bottom of the page if you are used to finding old posts that way! Bare with me, I'm still tweaking little things here and there.

I'll have a post soon on the fabulous wedding I photographed with David last night. But until then here's my favorite image so far...

Beautiful day for an outdoor wedding!

I've never been to an outdoor ceremony before so last Saturday was a special treat shooting with David! The ceremony and reception were held at the Chartiers Country Club. The golf course provided a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony and the weather could not have been more perfect.

Engagement Session | Downtown

Last week I went on an engagement shoot with David Burke. We had beautiful weather and spent the morning walking through the streets of downtown Pittsburgh. We met up with the couple at the Mellon Arena and finished with a ride on the incline!! They were so happy around each other and were extremely photogenic. I love this job ;)

David was shooting from across the street here. The entire wall above them was laced with green ivy. It was a perfect backdrop for a picture. I sneaked one from this angle...

I really loved the B&W images from this set.

Elizabeth + Brendon | August 30th

I just returned from an extended weekend in Ohio to attend my sister's wedding! It's been 6 years that I've been to a family wedding. How awesome it was to see my little sister walking down the aisle. (just to clarify, she's really my step-sister...just in case you were wondering about the names! lol)


I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I would, but I definetly can't help but share a lot!! Elizabeth doesn't take a bad picture and her happiness clearly shows in all of them.

Laura Leppert was the photographer and had the dress set up in window when I walked in.

Angela + TJ

Saturday I spent all day shooting with my friend David Burke and Jen at Angela and TJ's wedding. We started out at her mom's house to capture the girls getting ready then headed off to the Immaculate Conception church in Washington, PA. The reception was held at the Sheraton in Station Square. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding, and need I say a beautiful bride!

Adrienne & Chris:: June 21

Saturday I assisted my good friend David Burke at the wedding of Adrienne & Chris. I'm really falling in love with photographing weddings and Adrienne & Chris made our jobs easy!! They are such a beautiful and fun couple. The whole day was fabulous...
