I'm the proud owner of a 5 Million Dollar Home!!

You read it correctly! I'm so excited to move all my stuff in, there is going to be SO much room and everything will be so nice and comfy. Who could turn down a purple 5 Million Dollar Home with orange interior?

Okay so I'm really not the owner of a new home; rather, it's the name given to a line of camera bags from Crumpler. Their website is the most unique I have ever seen...it's worth visiting just for fun. I desperately needed a new bag and a stylish one at that!

Not my usual subject

My hubby got his first doe of the year, taken on our property! The meat is going to a co-worker's family this time. Vic has his eye on a nice 8 point (maybe 9? I forget!)...which will probably be greeting me from the living room wall one of these days! Vic is also involved with an organization called Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH). It's an outreach ministry to help feed the hungry among us with venison and other big game.

Sarah. . . DIVA!

Last night I had the opportunity to photograph Sarah. I've been friends with her family for so many years, so this was truly a treat to photograph their beautiful daughter. Sarah had 4 outfits picked out so we took several laps around the neighborhood. With the help of Sarah's friend, they'd dash in the house to change outfits and accessories and off we'd go again! Sarah was such a natural in front of the camera, it made my job super easy!! Here's a little sample of her pictures :)

Ouch! Gracie's First Bee Sting :(

I can't believe the first pictures I'm posting on my blog are after my daugther got stung by a stupid stupid bee twice! I bring her in the house to put 'ice' on her leg and 5 minutes later she gets stung by another bee on her arm that was inside her jean jacket. She's such a trooper. She was surprisingly in good spirits shortly afterwards and decided licking the bag-o-peas was a lot of fun! Of course I had my camera nearby so I snagged a few. Had to share this moment.

New Website Coming Soon!

I'm ecstatic about my new website!! It's almost 'finished' enough to replace my old site, but being the perfectionist that I am...almost means almost! My old site did what I needed and I appreciate all the evenings my hubby put up with crabby self when things just weren't looking the way I wanted. Needless to say, buying a website is much easier than building one yourself :)!
